I’m looking forward to joining neighbors at Let’s Play America’s 18th Annual Play Day on Sunday, September 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Piney Branch Elementary School. It’s a free afternoon of games, crafts, Kidokinetics activities, DinoRock, Touch-A-Truck, refreshments, and plenty of reasons for kids, parents, grandparents, and neighbors to get outside and have some fun together.

I’ll be there enjoying the afternoon and talking with people from across Takoma Park. If you see me, please come say hello. Some of the best conversations I have about our city happen at community events like this, when we have a chance to simply spend time together, listen, and enjoy what makes Takoma Park such a special place.
